DIRECTIONS: If you want to Map Quest directions then use 135 Crow Run Rockingham North Carolina. This is
a local body shop where you can also set up a tent on Friday night. The parking area is at the
end of this road. You can see the parking area from here.
IMPORTANT INFO: All runners need to park on the Crow run, or back side, parking area. The lodge will be
hosting a High School reunion from 10-2 on Saturday and will need the parking at the
lodge. However, If you are planning a serious attempt of running for 24 hours and need
to have your vehicle for aid, I will allow you to park on the Rotary lodge side (Start/finish
area) for easy access. I will require an e-mail letting me know you need this parking or
call me direct(910-997-1756) so I can arrange. After 2:00 P.M. Saturday parking is
allowed in this area. I can have your vehicle moved for you if that will help. It is a very
short walk to the start/finsh area from the Crow run Side parking. I will have plenty of aid
set up. Using your own aid table or area is welcomed. There is plenty of room for this.
Any inconvenience this causes I do apologize. This is a very small snag that can be
worked around. We are runners after all!!!!
DIRECTIONS TO ROTARY LODGE: From US 1 north: After passing large cemetery of your left turn
left at the traffic light on to Long Drive. Landmarks will be Long Leaf Bank on your right
and gas station and video store on your left. At the next traffic light turn left on to
Washington Street. Follow this road for approx: 1/4 mile or so and you will see the
entrance to Hinson Lake. You will not miss the entrance. Very visible.
From US 1 north: At the end of historic district(You will know this because the houses
become less spectacular) take a right turn on to Long Drive at the traffic light.
Landmarks will be video store and gas station on your right and Long Leaf Bank on
your left. At the next traffic light turn left on to Washington Street. Follow this road for
approx: 1/4 mile or so and you will see the entrance to Hinson Lake. You will not miss
the entrance. Very visible.
From US 220 or highway 74 you will follow US 1 north directions from above once you
exit on to US 1.

WEB UPDATES: I will be posting race day updates on this web-site every 6 hours for those who have
family or friends who want to track their favorite crazy runner.
START: The race will start at 8:00A.M. With early registration starting at 7:00 A.M. Race briefing
will be at approx: 7:50 A.M. No late registering once the lead runner completes one
lap. If you are pre-registered and happen to be late you are still welcomed. However,
You will miss the start of the only 24 hour race in North Carolina
FINISH: For those runners lucky enough to be running at the end, here's how it goes. You will
be sent out on your last lap with a marker with your race number written on the
marker. If I have enough race pacers one will be sent out with you. At precisely 24
hours an alarm will be sounded that can be heard all around the lake. You, or the
pacer will leave your marker on the trail and continue in back to the start finish. I will
immediately collect all markers and measure the distance and add to your totals.
